Founded on 10 September 2015 and legally registered in Maroua, AYE–Data4Her is a non-profit, non-partisan, non-denominational association working in the Far North region of Cameroon.
We design, coordinate, and implement integrated community actions to strengthen the autonomy, dignity, protection, and resilience of women, girls, and vulnerable populations — using data and evidence to drive every decision.
Our departments work in an integrated, complementary manner to address the interconnected challenges facing communities in the Far North.
In northern Cameroon, women, girls, and youth face layered crises: climate stress, displacement, gender-based violence, school dropout, and exclusion. These are the voices that guide everything we do.
"In the face of these crises, we are empowering youth, especially girls and women living in the poorest areas of our nation, through our various activities to help them unleash their full potential."
The Far North region faces climate change, food insecurity, economic crises, displacement, and the erosion of safety nets that protect women and girls. AYE–Data4Her responds with integrated, survivor-centred programming rooted in community trust.
"Data is not just numbers. It is the voice of communities who have been ignored for too long."
Our data department uses KoboToolbox, ODK, and AI tools to turn community realities into actionable evidence — helping donors, governments, and partners make decisions that actually protect lives.
Every contribution — whether a donation or a grant — directly funds education for girls, protection for GBV survivors, livelihoods for vulnerable women, and data systems that make communities stronger.
